Hunters: worst class overall.
I will keep it short
My hunters not too far along yet but what I have seen so far is hunters are poop in PvE, double jump sucks, and blade dance still wrecks in PvP. havent done gunslinger but i know the deal. triple jump (still worse than glide) and 3 free kills for your Major mobs or a few poor bastards in crucible. and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma.
Played someone elses titan, they seemed decent enough at both. titan strike or whatever is irritating in pvp, kills a ton of shit in pve, and they have the defense bubble thing (in my opinion is just useless and annoying) but still pretty good at both
Warlocks are probably the best class in the game, as both subclasses crush life hard in both pve and pvp.
also vote what you think is best.

it comes down to play style, i'm an aggressive player in pvp but can't stand the titan's movement, imo hunter is the best pvp class

Hunter is my go to PvP class but it's also the best support class, IMO. Warlocks die too often to rely on their self-rez to prevent a wipe and titans are only really useful when they have their bubble ready. Hunters have a bunch of ways to go invisible and revive the rest of the team. I will agree that hunter supers are pretty useless in PvE but the golden gun is by far my favorite super in PvP. Overall, hunters just take a little more time to learn because the other two classes have more in common. Btw, there's no sight that I love more than seeing a warlock "floofing" across the map. Pick up my tablet, get into app, go into the vault, equip my No Land Beyond and take 3 shots at them before they ever hit the ground.

10 RepliesYea I made a Hunter and maxed out the subclass for the Trophy then I deleted him and made another Warlock. Titans and Warlocks are just overall better for PvE. People play the Hunter class because they came over from CoD and it's the best PVP class.

I honestly feel the golden gun needs a pve buff. This is coming from a warlock and titan player. Also bladedancer also needs so more pve benefits like generating more orbs or something.

I have all three, and I like the warlock the most, even though I made the hunter first. The hunter has the best jump imo.

Just trying out two classes without giving all three a go and maxing them out won't give you the full perspective. Each class is catered to a different kind of play style. Apparently the hunter just isn't for you, which might blow in your opinion but it's just that you can't play with and enjoy that class. (There's no such thing as a best class btw as everything gets freaking wrecked in any game mode by someone or something stronger or better than you in some way)

11 RepliesHunter is the medic,the relic guy, the Swordbearer, can do the steps sequence on VoG without using one step, can go invisible to do lamps in crota and pick up relics without problem, is agile and quick and dies easier than the rest, has no bubble to hide in or come back from the dead special. Skill is what's required to be a serious hunter! I'm the goto guy for all night falls an raids no joke and guess what I'm a blade dancing hunter that beasts

How are titans and warlocks head to head on this poll? Titans are suppose to be the tank class in this game and they aren't they can maybe take one more hit then hunters or warlocks. They are only good for the blessing of light or weapons of light in PvE but nobody uses defender because they would rather smash the ground and be useless to the fireteam.

Or Pop a bubble with blessing of light and save the team from getting killed while defending a plate Or pop a bubble with the blinding exotic helmet And easily kill all the minotaurs in the middle during gate keeper. And Pop a bubble in middle and save the entire team of getting rekt by atheon. Or use fist of havoc (with after shock) to keep thrall off of your butts Or use a bubble (with blinding effect and armor/blessing of light) to stop thrall. Or in some cases (with blinding effect and armor of light) pop a bubble and solo the bridge building in the first part of crota end. Or grab the sword and jump across without the bridge fully formed. Or pop a bubble at a plate so thrall and acolytes don't kill you/ for you to get off. Or pop a bubble so boomers don't kill you in crota fight (in normal mode) Or pop a bubble next to crota (if you use that strategy) Or distract boomers with a bubble (in hard mode) And how many times has a warlock Nova bomb a conflux clear Use self revive when to many die in conflux. Nova bomb the middle clear of vex Or nova bombing a plate to clear vex when at gate keeper. Or using nova bomb for a Minotaur when in gate keeper part. Or using self revive when there aren't enough people left for the last part of gate keeper. Or nova bombing the Minotaur when ported to Venus Or use radiance grenades to bomb the Minotaur when ported to Venus Or self reviving when 3 people die during atheon. Or nova bomb bombs a crowd of thrall in first part of Crotas end. Or use radiance so the whole team can throw grenades at thrall (but most the lock I know on use self revive -_-) Or when the bridge forms and everyone dies Self revive to run across. (In first part of CE) Or self revive when they die during crota fight. Or nova bomb the enemies that spawn during first part of crota fight. All classes are useful for something. The one you like best depends on play style. I'm starting to like my Titan more than my other classes. (I hate my warlock)

Iv got all 3 and think they are all useful in their own way, but I prefer my warlock overall he just seems pretty well balanced and radiance is a realy handy super, I know alot of people bitch about radiance in raids but if you have a team player radiance can be pretty useful.

Make sure your evidence can be used in a realistic manner, don't use false analogies or anything that can be easily dismissed because they are based on a certain taste. Examples of bad arguments to use: Warlocks looks bad (opinionated) Hunters are the best because of their perks, dismiss who the player is (false analogy) Only REAL men use TITANS. It takes skill to play hunter friend my 5 year old niece can play a titan or warlock afterall they can jus throw up a bubble and hide in it or jus self res right? Sounds like you have no skill OP.

Screw you! Titans SUCK (I can't get past Riksis on my Titan. I deleted it) and Warlocks have the WORST ARMOR IN THE GAME (In protection and design) Since I have played all the classes, i noted that the starter armor for Warlocks is weaker than the other classes. I actually think your opinion decides for you what your favorite class is. I just don't like punching the ground like an idiot. I like sniping a captain from so far away using a flaming gun. Also, look at your own freaking poll. More people said Hunter than the other classes!!!!

Hunters are awesome i got 2 warlocks so cant comment on titans but Hunters are sweet.. also how can you say you dont like the hubter when you havent used the golden gun.. it would be like me saying "havent used titan but i got the idea they just pop bubbles and shit"

Worst isn't really a thing. Blade dancers are the best for pvp warlocks are the best probably overall and you could make the arguement that titans are the best in pve.

Hunters is, in my opinion, the best class for survivability, whether in PvP or PvE. Of course, you need to actually understand what the hell you are doing with a Hunter... Triple jump offers much better control than the glide - I have an easier time in platforming sections with that than anything else. Golden Gun and Arc Blade are not like the Warlock or Titan supers - they are situational supers that one needs to understand instead of just firing off in the heat of the moment (like the Striker and VW supers). Sunsingers Radiance is nice in PvE teams if you have it spec'd accordingly, or you can have self-res. Your call I guess. The Defenders Bubble is also situational - just like both Hunter supers - if you just fire it off, then it is wasted. Point is, if your playstyle is such that you want to run into a group that will kill you in a heartbeat, but you insist on being Billy Badass's idiot cousin Danny Dumbass, then by all means take the Warlock class. No worries though, bruh - my Hunter will revive you when your super is gone, and you are crying in the corner complaining about how the game is OP. ;-)

Horrible grenades (except the trip mine), iffy jump, inability to spec into both armor and recovery at the same time, and a couple others; but, the mobility, cloaking, and on kill buffs offset the negatives IF you can micromanage them mid-battle.

Dude, besides the fact that lift and glide get an extra foot or two, triple jump is by far the best jump in the game Using lift or glide in the middle of a gun fight will get you killed; jumping will save your life
