Hunters: worst class overall.
I will keep it short
My hunters not too far along yet but what I have seen so far is hunters are poop in PvE, double jump sucks, and blade dance still wrecks in PvP. havent done gunslinger but i know the deal. triple jump (still worse than glide) and 3 free kills for your Major mobs or a few poor bastards in crucible. and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma.
Played someone elses titan, they seemed decent enough at both. titan strike or whatever is irritating in pvp, kills a ton of shit in pve, and they have the defense bubble thing (in my opinion is just useless and annoying) but still pretty good at both
Warlocks are probably the best class in the game, as both subclasses crush life hard in both pve and pvp.

I am more of its the player not the class type. I use all 3. My raid group uses a mix of the 3, usually 2-3 locks, 1-2 Titans, and we always have 2 hunters for sword in case one of us goes down. We can usually clear the hard raid in 30-40 mins with one run on deathsinger and crota as long as nothing glitches... That being said, my hunter is my favorite, followed by warlock, then Titan last, just because defender is kind of boring. I like both classes on the other two. I usually run hunter when I play pvp and usually hold my own with it....

23 RepliesYou're an idiot. The Hunter's jump is the most mobile and maneuverable in the game, and how are you going to complain that a super is "too good"? Golden Gun is easily my favorite super, and takes the most skill. The same goes for the Hunter class in general: fun, and requires skill.

2 RepliesAre all hunters frigging 12 year Olds that cannot aim. Hunter is by far the most OP class in crucible and as good as any other option in pve. Honestly, they are the best in crota hard raid. They can easily solo the first part and the sword is easy for them.

10 RepliesYay another Hunter worst class post. With my Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's trance, I'm going to kill more things than Ts and Ws on several different encounters. Hence providing needed crowd control in raids. I can utilize Dancer to survive and pick my shots. I love sitting and watching people do nothing on Nightfalls and Raids while I invis to pick my spots, and pop out to do damage on a consistent basis. (I'm looking at you, Archon Priest and Ta'aurc.) I love going invis to save a Nightfall (because I didn't die like a Warlock) or finish a raid boss. I'm a SwordBearer. Can Ws and Ts do swords on Hard Crota with ease? Nope. I can solo Hard Abyss and get 5 other losers free gear. I can murder in PVP either in Dancer or (my preference) Slinger. I reload faster, I move faster, I'm a natural born killer and the preferred PVP predator. F^ck Titan charges and Warlock balls of doom. Golden Gun requires ACTUAL SHOOTING and not spamming an area. Blink is the utilimate jump. You should see how people react after you blink over or past them. They spin like they got hit by Super Macho Man. I could go on but I don't have to. When I want to cheese Bridge, I call on a Warlock. You never NEED a Titan bubble, it only makes certain things (Atheon) marginally faster. Blessing helps on HCrota but my team has been farming for weeks without one. TLDR: All classes are good and shine in their own ways, but Hunter is the master race.

1 ReplyI think it more of certain people don't k of how to use hunters. Last night I was running a fresh hard mode crota run and all of the 3 hunter's in the group were horrible. They kept going invisible from lamp to lamp and not shooting at any enemies. Needless to say none of them made it to the bridge. Only me (a warlock using voidwalker) and someone else (a titan) kept making it to the end. Needless to say I was the last one standing and I crossed the bridge alone. Usually when I play with my clan though we have at least 3 of us cross and most of tge time one person is a hunter. So I think it all depends on who player player is and their skill level.

7 RepliesHunters are quite useless in pve. Golden gun does the same amount of damage as an icebreaker. Bladedancer sucks for raids and nightfalls (unless arc burn.) The only good thing is you can go invisible with the blade dancer class. I still prefer hunters over warlock though.

What are you talking about? Ward of dawn is awesome! Invis is great for PVE! Glide is literally the worst jump! It's your opinion though, so think whatever you want

Hunters are better than you think and ward of dawn is far from useless. Maybe get some more experience before you go making a fool of yourself.

Every headshot you get increases your weapon reload speed, and it can stack up to three times. So, you like thorn or hawkmoon, but hate their shitty reload speed? Get some -blam!-in headshots and you're in business. Now, further down the line you unlock gunslinger's trance, which also stacks up to three times. It increases a gun's stability greatly. So, fast reload + huge stability == headshot/crit machine. Now add on golden gun. It's drool worthy! If you hate hunters, it's simply because you never game them a chance, or have no idea how to use them. It's like that with any class. I could sit here and faff ignorance about warlocks or titans but I won't, because I have a 32 of each class and actually know the benefits of each. This game is short on content, so how about you create one of each class and learn how to use them as to extend the life of the game, and lessen that super big ignorance thing you have going on.

I have a warlock and two hunters. My warlock is more fun, but all it really has that's special is self resurect. My hunter is more challenging to use but provides a more rewarding expierence. The jumps are designed to be able to recover in a fix. The invisibility is nice in certain areas too.

I like hunters triple jump the best, with Titan jump second. I hate blink and glide. Hunters have great perks, poor supers for pve. They are the glass cannons of destiny

it comes down to play style, i'm an aggressive player in pvp but can't stand the titan's movement, imo hunter is the best pvp class
