I will keep it short
My hunters not too far along yet but what I have seen so far is hunters are poop in PvE, double jump sucks, and blade dance still wrecks in PvP. havent done gunslinger but i know the deal. triple jump (still worse than glide) and 3 free kills for your Major mobs or a few poor bastards in crucible. and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma.
Played someone elses titan, they seemed decent enough at both. titan strike or whatever is irritating in pvp, kills a ton of shit in pve, and they have the defense bubble thing (in my opinion is just useless and annoying) but still pretty good at both
Warlocks are probably the best class in the game, as both subclasses crush life hard in both pve and pvp.
also vote what you think is best.

Hunter fits my playstyle perfectly, so I think it's the best class in the game for me.
Not to mention, dem cloaks.

And dem Female Awoken booties.
It less about If a class sucks or not. And more to do with it what the class does suit your play style. For the longest of time I thought hunters where a your normal would-be try hards. However, after sometime I see now,the class is not bad. Just a lot of hunters suck because they where in mass. Now,we have a bunch of shitty titans and before that some shitty warlocks. However, picking a class because you think they are "OP" is no different then garbing a weapon because you think It is "op". However, back to the story. I know a hunter, the hunter who changed my mind about hunters. He was swift, cunning, and he used a gun called patience and time. Even when everyone told him to swap to icebreaker. He built, a invisible god. When duo nightfalls,me the warlock who baits the foes, and him the cleaner. Which gets to the point, bad players will always be bad not matter what class they are. However, to know a class inside and out and understand your limits is what makes you strong. Titan:May lack speed, but they have very strong clutch power, that barrier can be used in ways from reviving teamates to making a chock point on foes. That shockwave, Their is nothing brave enough, Guardian or otherwise to stand in the face to falling fist. That is a wave clear. Even on yellow heathbars they will atleast be at half. (if not a boss). They are the game changers, they turn bad ordeal in your favor. They are the shell. Strong, but not always used for defense, can be used o trick foe, to let them thing you are helpless in slow. Only for them to be dragged into a war they can not win. Hunters:They are damage but also like a fox, the blade dancer can sneak into enemy lines and pick off a big target,or save the lives of a camped alley, with their blades they curve a path, letting the other two feast on well needed orbs for the coming battle, the hunter does not need these thing, they only need to worry about cleaving the foes hp. the goldengun, can curve thou hp of anything, weakening enemy ranks or crippling their leaders, setting traps for would be foes who are foolish to chase them or their allies, clusters and tripmines puzzle the vex, but scare them all the same. they are the month, but the month is not always used for eatting you see, for some beast use It to save their young and even just to prove a point. Warlocks:Warlocks are the most versatile,They can not take as much pain as the titan, or move with the speed of the hunter, but they can try. The sunsinger, You must not worry for them, for they will let themselves fall only to turn the tide of combat in your favor, as they false being a corpse they spring when the foes least forsee It. burning their ranks. the Void brings a great horror to the field of combat as a blackhole eats thou the foes and ripping their minds and hearts into the void. They bring chaos to the battlefield, the chaos which others can use to torment our foes. They are feet, moving ever going, yet unpredictable. And this is only a few ways to do these classes or to seem them. But, at the end of the day. Their is no god teir class or shit teir. It is making do with what you got. The only problem is the bunch of hunters who talk about how they take skill and everyone else does not. Every class takes knowledge of your skills. the hunters who claim "skill" are the ones stuck in the cod ideal of "shooting=True skill" Croia and Anhon will not just shoot you. They will throw you, send you thou time, try to insta kill you. Why limit oursevles to shooting? Because skill? The most skilled hunter I know uses everything he gots to be the best. Not only his gun, but his stealth, his knife and his timing, to clear foes. If you think skill is equal only to gunsmenship. Then, clearly have not seen a titan turn a anthon raid around,a sleathed hunter clutch a team and revive them or a warlock finish the Anhon raid before everyone got auto killed by the dots. (that is not at op,but well you know)

I just started a Hunter (now level 24) a few days ago after maining a Warlock (level 32) since launch and I absolutely love my Hunter. My new favorite character.
-
Warlocks are the worst class in the game.
-
Where is None?
-
Not hating on warlocks, but someone said self res is retarded because good players shouldn't die in the first place.
-
The Hunter isn't the worst class, but it is the most demanding and has the highest turnout for kills when used properly. I've used all classes and sub-classes, and while some are definitely better than others in certain situations, none can be called the worst class. I will admit that the Hunter's perks look fairly worthless, but when used in certain combinations Hunters can become gods. It only takes a little bit more work than the other classes to find that perfect setup.

I hate titans

Hunter sucks in pve

Edited by Monty11: 4/21/2015 2:38:46 PM3x 32s. I use every class every week. Warlock sunsinger = crutch. If you have to use it, you are bad at utilizing your environment to stay alive and dont have enough gameplay exp yet. I love when ppl run song of flame instead. Voidwalker is very good when paired with obsidian mind. Lots of orbs. Titan defender, to me, is the best class. Create a safe area with saint 14 and buff the whole team with weapons or blessing. Most versatile, team oriented class. I plan on bubbling my way through prison of elders. Striker is meh. Never really use it. Hunters are amazing for crota. The abyss is a cakewalk with don't touch me. I love running sword on my Hunter. Gunslinger is my PvP class of choice. Each can be used for different situations. This argument is getting old. Just like the icebreaker/black hammer argument, every class has its utility and can shine in certain areas and fall behind in others.

Edited by Fromage of Havoc: 4/21/2015 2:35:19 PMTriple jump is not worse than glide, and "the invis thing" is used mostly to drop off the radar...Gunslingers are great overall if you use Chain of Woe and Trance. Hunter may be weaksauce in pve in terms of class support, but they're great for pvp. Personally, I find it enjoyable for pve while soloing.
-
This post is funny, because the majority votes for which class is better is the hunters
-
I will define you as a gamer with one quote:
Headshots... Those who can, enjoy Those who can't, complain
-
I love my hunter and she was my first character... but I think my titan is going to take her place!
-
Titan is my main, but hunter is fun with the right exotics, also probably the best class to run sword as. Not saying it can't be done as other classes, but far easier with invis.
-
every class is stronger than gunslinger, striker and voidwalker are stronger than blade dancers. hunter is the weakest class by some margin.
-
I agree with you on the hunters but man titans bubbles are not useless, probably the best thing to come to pve since self rez
-
Nope. Gunslinger is awesome. Blade dancer suckes
-
No individual class sucks you just suck using it
-
Blade dancer invis is great for picking up dead warlocks in night falls
-
Made a hunter few days ago Love playing with it in PvP And I feel like a hoe saying I might actually enjoy it more than the Warlock 😤
-
There is no worst class, just shitty players.
-
You ever thought maybe you just suck

If you think hunters suck then you're just a bad player. All classes are equally viable, but not all classes are equally easy to master. Hunter, imo, is the hardest given how soft they are. Once you realize that you shouldn't be engaging Titans in head on head encounters (until you're used to the hunter) then you'll start getting better. I'm not surprised that Warlock is your favorite class, it's by far the easiest to use. I am surprised that you like glide, though. I hate that shit, makes you a sitting duck in the air. You are the first person I have heard hate that hard on triple jump. Are you timing each sequential jump at the peak of the former? Probably not since you don't like it. It's not like Warlock, you don't just mash A/X twice in a row, they have to be well timed. Like another poster said, it's not the class- it's the player. Classic case of user error. And before you say I don't know what I'm talking about I've been playing since day one and have one of each class at 32 and have fun with all 3, but they all play very differently.

The Warlocks and Titans have a defensive subclass, which I prefer using. I don't like using my hunter for he doesn't have a defensive subclass.
