how about Bungie is locking the content until it's ready, or did you not notice how they've slowly trickled content in since launch and ERMAHGERD contents on the disc but I can't use it.... you do realize you still only payed 60 bucks for the game, and the DLC is just going to be used to unlock the content Gears of War did the same thing. It's done so that it translates to slower download times later and less space taken up on the memory, also most DLC content are not finished until just before the first one launches, them being on the dist does not make it any more finished it just means the trigger for said content is there but locked to prevent early access until it's ready.
