They don't need to do anything of the sort. You paid your money, you got a game.

I got half a game, had I only paid $20-$30 for it then I wouldn't look at the two upcoming expansions with such contempt. What I thought I was buying was a full $60 experience. What I got was a game that from the looks of things should've been priced as an episodic game. I've got more content in Warframe and I haven't spent a dime on that game yet, and honestly I'm starting to feel guilty about it now.

Then don't buy the expansions. Go back and play warframe. Count your blessings you only wasted $60 and next time wait for the reviews.

I got a game that should be $30 or less, not $60. $60 on say, oh I don't know, anything with an actual story is worth it. $60 for a lackluster story + $35 for more of the same crap (or maybe even the original story)? That's just a clear rip off. GreyMouser, you can defend it all you want. Just know that no matter how many delusions you put into your head, that underlying feeling will always be there. Trust me, I know.

Edited by GreyMouser73: 9/29/2014 3:59:27 PMI'm sorry, have you seen what $60 buys in terms of game these days? Because I don't think you have. You want a sob story? I bought Watch Dogs. Poor me. Buyer's remorse. That sucks for you.

This is a lot of people's Watch_Dogs. We got sucked in by the hype and left sitting there at the end of the last story mission saying "Wait, thats it? Thats all we get?".

Edited by GreyMouser73: 9/29/2014 4:10:16 PMWell, I'm pretty satisfied with the 40-50 hours I've already sunk into Destiny, so I really don't understand this stirring things up on the forums where people who play the game talk about it. I'm also not on the Watch Dogs forums spilling tears expecting someone to fix the game or unlock the DLC for free or change their corporate direction or 'splain things to me - because if a company is going to really screw me, and they already have my money, then why on earth are they going to suddenly change their corporate ethic and try to make things right. I'm just not playing it because its not that great and I don't think they are going to fix it. Their metrics can easily see how many people played less than 20 hours and stopped. You want to have someone say "we know the game isn't all that, and we're going to roll out X Y and Z for you?" They aren't. They already said they have more content in store. An admission of fault is not going to happen, and preloading future content is bog-standard practice - not evidence of actionable corporate shenanigans. And like I said, I think a lot of this could have been avoided if people just didn't pre-order, and its happened so many times, I've done it myself, that I am Jack's complete and utter lack of sympathy for not reading reviews.

Well the loot cave, engrams, voice chat, etc... changes show that Bungie is listening, so some of us have hope that we will get an answer on content (or lack their of). Hating on people that are voicing their concerns is just bizzare. If you're totally content and happy with what you purchased then great! I'm glad you don't feel like you wasted your money. But a lot of us do, and this is the only soapbox we have to try and get things changed. Will it happen, probably not, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to voice my opinion and hope for the best.

Edited by GreyMouser73: 9/29/2014 4:19:51 PMI'm saying I find it hard to be sympathetic with these particular concerns that sound a lot like entitlement. Its not that its missing content, *it isn't*, its "we want more" "you're holding out on us!". Sorry.
