Wow where to start.... First off the 9.5 MB key, yeah that idea is used in almost all games with massive dlc and online interactions. You see you need everyone to have the same files if they are playing together. For instance if you don't get the dlc and I do, you need to atleast have the DLC files that my character could equip, otherwise if we are in the same game things break because your game doesnt understand what my game has. So the two common ways to combat this are A) have a compatibility pack separate from the DLC that needs to be downloaded when the DLC is released that has the bare minimum files to prevent things from breaking (Borderlands 2 and i think COD uses this method) or B) you time the DLC release with a patch that is HUGE and has everything, then give a small key to those that download the DLC so they can access the content (Battlefield). Either way there is a large file needed for the DLC. Now if there never is a huge patch then yes the content was already included, but I highly doubt that is the case. And second, you have played for almost 85 hours in 20 days. There are 2 ways to look at that number. 1) you averaged 70 cents per hour of entertainment; good luck finding something else with that value. 2) assuming 40 hours a week at a job or school and 8 hours of sleep a night you have spent 35% of your free time on a "Rip off". Either way it seems like you got your money worth......
