...This is completely wrong lmao. No offence but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. When you go into a new area it is NOT on the server, the 3d models, the sounds, the collision boxes, the textures, almost everything is on the disc. (Actually it's on your HDD as Destiny does a force install) The only thing not on the disc is things like the RNG calculator that determines loot, item stats, inventory databased etc. Hence why it takes a little while to load these things sometimes.

    Game dics these days are nothing more than a key to play and a toolbox of parts to be put together and used by the servers. Without the server it is litterly just a list of items.

  • Do you think the cutscenes and audio and all the high def 3d models are small files? Do you think that content is a large file? You are ignorant of how games work and how "this industry" works.
