we are owed some content. it's one thing to ask me to be patient it's another thing to give me a bare minimum game and ask me to pay for anything else that will be added to it. they keep saying this is just the beginning. which is perfectly fine I'll be patient and wait but you shouldn't charge admission price for just the beginning of the game wtf

yes that's exactly my point if you give me a full game then add content and pay for it I'm fine with that but they didn't give us a full game to start with. I paid 100 dollers for my version of the game which is considerably more than most games. I do enjoy playing the game. but on basic principles I have to have my pride and if they're not treating us fairly I gotta go no matter how I feel about the game. I won't spend my money on people that screw me over. there obviously conscious of the fact that they didnt give us a full game. now I'm waiting to see if they're willing to make it up to us. companies only understand one thing and that's money so if it comes to it I'll have to talk to them with my wallet. by myself I'll change nothing but if a lot of people do this they will know and feel the financial pain

given that this is a form and not written word of god everything you ever see on here now and in the future will be someone's opinion.... why did I have to say that..... anyway I was under the impression it was pretty obvious that they were missing a lot of content that would normally be in the usual game. sure seems to be obvious to a lot of other people. I digress if you disagree that's cool that's your opinion but personally for me and apparently a lot of other people we expected more

Expectations lol. So you're disappointed because your own expectations weren't met? Maybe you shouldn't have such high expectations and fall for marketing. Bungie and Activision are the ones who decide what the "full game" is at release. Not the consumer. They own the content so they have every right to release future content when it's ready to be released. That is not an opinion. Now, here's my opinions. I'm loving the game. If I do JUST my bounties, then I get at least 3-4 hours of gameplay in a day. If I play with my friends that goes up even more. The reason Bungie kept saying, "Shared-world shooter" is because they didn't want everyone to think this was a fully open world mmo type experience. Bungie has crafted a beautiful game. Destiny has poor opening story delivery? Sure. World of Warcraft (one of the most successful games in history) tells almost the entire story IN TEXT WINDOWS....IN TEXT WINDOWS. ANNNND you have to pay 15 bucks a MONTH JUST TO EVEN PLAY even though "I own the disc." Be thankful Destiny doesn't cost a subscription fee. COD. Every single time, the COD games have a poor story...most people play through it once (if that), and then hop on multiplayer and play the SAME REPETITIVE game types over and over. Same with BF. These games get a 9/10 slapped on them every year. It's funny to me the hypocrisy people are showing with this game.

When my expectations aren't met, I usually return the product. Maybe you should do that with Destiny. When my expectations aren't met, I don't go on that game sites forums and cry and complain about it. I call customer service and return the game. I think you're just getting caught up in all this news. It's kind of like how you were getting caught up in all the news before when you bought the game. Did you ever play WoW? What games did you play before Destiny?

no I didn't play it. uncharted Mass Effect 3 left 4 dead halo Red Dead Redemption stuff like that. and since I have plenty of money I don't feel I need to return it for that. well I have a $100 limited edition so my downloadable content is already guaranteed. you can argue against the entire world if you want. but the point is the vast majority thinks that it's lacking. and without things being brought to there attention how will they even know there's a problem so if you are going to get in the way of progress. I would like you to take down everyone's name on this site that has ever complained about anything. and when they fix it as they already have with other things. I want you to go to each person and write them a personalized thank you letter

I'm not arguing against the entire world. A lot of posts on these forums are defending Bungie because this is nothing new, and treating it like it is something new is pretty funny to me. You realize all those games you play are completely repetitive and have hardly any replay value. Bring it to their attention? The way to do that would be to go (like I said before)...call customer service and let them know you aren't happy with your product and return the game. But, you won't do that because you enjoy playing the game too much.

Edited by Resurrection101: 9/29/2014 5:01:08 PMsince you seem to hold bungie at almost godlike Heights then that's what I shall use to defeat you lol bungee therself said the forms were very helpful in finding certain imbalances in the game along with problems in the vault of glass and other things one issue would have been the weapon imbalance in the crucible. they are also bringing communication into the crucible. so since Bungie has already thanked me along with millions of others. here's your chance to do so too

I don't hold bungie at godlike heights lol. I'm just saying this isn't something new: expectations failing on a game that someone preordered; paying more money to unlock more content; paying more money to have more story; having subscription fees to even log into the game. This is a practice that's been around for a long time. I have my criticisms of the game: game balance, lag, netcode, trading, VOIP, bugged instances, story delivery, etc. and I want them to fix these issues. I want this game to be great. I've beaten the vault of glass. I've put 101 hours into this game. But, complaining about something that has been happening way before Destiny doesn't improve Destiny in anyway. You just said, you want Bungie to go out of business. That doesn't improve Destiny.

I don't know how much you know about sales. but Bungie has already made the money necessary to make this game successful launch. after that it's just profit. but affecting their profit will get their attention. I don't want any game company to go out of business. they're the creators of my favorite hobby but I do expect them to carry their self and the things they make in a manner that is with in accordance of what they told us they would do and what we as a community have come to expect. if we come to take these things as the new lower standard or in some way allow these things to continue on. then we can only hold ourselves responsible for the decline of quality video games and yes complaining about it will change things. it is the oldest and most celebrated method of getting change lol there are a hundred old saying I could bring up here you know the loudest mouth gets fed first or silence is contentment excetera. but the point is if you want something to change you got a bitch about it. and I'm pretty sure the actual makers of this game pay more attention to their own app forms. then they would of some random person over a telephone that probably doesn't even write down what I say that's just putting in their 8 hours to get there pay and has no association with the actual makers of the game

So would you rather everyone stop playing Destiny unified together? Bungie go out of business. Activision tank and tens of thousands of people lose jobs? What's your goal? To let Bungie know they hurt our feelings?
