Change the story to what? There basically is no story. You go around and Dinklage says esoteric things while you shoot aliens, the end. In the words of the speaker: "I could tell you about the great war". But he doesn't. That's about as far as the story goes. Here's what I do know. They lied about a lot of things before the game was released. There's absolutely no reason to believe that they didn't also lie about selling us the full game. Do you honestly believe that what we got was 5 years worth of work? Maybe from an amateur studio working on very first project from the ground up, but not from Bungie.
