Although I'm pretty sure when they read their contract they knew what they were getting into. Activision still blows but a small portion of the blame still lies on the devs.

Hmm lets see... devs develop the game and make it awesome.. activision says nope were cutting that out so they pay for it

the point i'm sure lots of people are making is that anyone with a brain knows ACTIVISION is known for doing this. So Bungie signing with them just means they were possibly aware that content was going to be put to the side for a rainy day.
