I hear what you're saying. I guess I am coming from the point of view that that is a slightly naive way of thinking... I would imagine that all companies (esp tech related) have a plan years and years ahead. Companies create product x, knowing full well that next year they will release product y... I would assume that x and y could be in development at the same time. The example that pops to mind is an iphone. I would prefer that they develop and plan lots of things together.. If they were always planning on releasing it as DLC, what is the big deal if they add it to the disc as part of the release if that makes it easier / work smoother?

  • You make some pretty valid points there. Destiny is supposed to be a 10 year franchise after all, and I seriously doubt that just taking it one step at a time is a valid strategy. Bungie has been making Destiny for years, and to be quite honest I wouldn't doubt it if they release new content like raids or strikes for free along the way. I personally have no opinion on this whole debate. I think that everyone trying to crucify Bungie should at least wait to hear what they have to say.
