Placeholders =/= disc locked content.
Bungie themselves have talked about going to other planets and shit with the dlc. This is pure speculation. Bungie knew ahead of time they were doing DLC for the game so put placeholders in the game to downsize the dlc.
If however it comes out and ends up being only this content we see here. THEN it's time to bitch.

They're not placeholders. As TheWikkedJoker answered you these areas are in the game fully playable with enemies, dead ghosts and all. People have glitched into some of them.

One area has shit in it. One. I've seen the videos. Kings watch is the only one with enemies in it. And for all we know that one could be an event area. Making assumptions does nothing.

If you read my thread. http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70611439/0/0 You'll see that many of the areas on the Map, are in the game and have been since the alpha.
