Don't dismantle your Stranger Rifle.
With Bungie you never know if it's actually a key to a Easter egg.
The Stranger hands it to you. This could be Bungie's way of saying this is important for other things.

But after 9 months and no word of them ever doing anything with it, I deleted the last one. No reason to keep around a 200 or so level weapon.

I would never dismantle The Stranger's Rifle. It is my go to "sweaty weapon". Playing try hards? Oh let me grab my Thorn and TLW - JK, i much prefer this Pulse. It's REALLY good

3 RepliesI hated that I didn't keep any of mine as its fun to use, cool looking and appears to be a decent choice in crucible. Last week I was bored, so I ran a daily. I didn't give it much thought, finished the mission and after the cut scene got one. So I leveled it and play patrols with it.

Yeah, I felt both my Strangers Rifle and Khvostov. Nostalgia, fun for messing around in Crucible and maybe, just maybe, there is more in store for them in the future.

Hopscotch is weak compared to it in normal crucible, it's a monster, a beast, a force of nature, only limited by it's "rare" status

1 ReplyI usually delete them but I made a warlock so I kept that one maxed at 215. It's a fun weapon to use also have khostov as well :) so glad I made the warlock. :)

5 RepliesI don't know if this works 100% of the time but it's worked twice for me now. Every time the daily has been the black garden, let it play through the mission timer and cut scene at the end, do not go to orbit. After the cutscene you will be rewarded with the strangers rifle again. Whether this work if you load up the black garden manually I don't know. Worth a try. Good luck.
