Don't dismantle your Stranger Rifle.
With Bungie you never know if it's actually a key to a Easter egg.
The Stranger hands it to you. This could be Bungie's way of saying this is important for other things.

I put mine in the Vault immediately.Then I made a new character and started using it when I got to level 16, and holy crap when you upgrade it all the way, its a beast in the Crucible.It has NO recoil at all, its damn amazing.

it's actually a pretty good rifle, especially for only being a level 16 gun. I think that it needs a buff on the reload time though, even with the all the fastest reload options selected it doesnt seem to speed it up much.
