No its IS fair. Your ability DOESN'T affect your rewards chance. That is a GOOD thing that I love about destiny pvp. (Again i'm normally top of board) Also gear DOES matter in pvp regardless of what people say. (Only damage defences and HP are normalised all others things still work) A reward system that is focused on good players only would create an unfair power gap. And create the casual vs elitists arguments. the everyone has the same dice roll is FAIR. Don't play PVP expecting to be rewarded. Play pvp cause you want to PVP. (Or maxing marks/rep) Rewards are an additional thing. I could care less if someone afk'd or did nothing and got drops.
