They said the design of the game was not to separate players into groups. rewarding everyone in pure random is FAIR. it prevents elitists vs casual arguments This is someone who is normally at the top of the board so you can't call me out on that. stop being so selfish and expecting you to get rewards based on your performance. (This isn't a job its a game)

  • "This guy tried his hardest, got first place. This other guy went afk and got an exotic. Completely fair." If that is your argument, you don't get to speak anymore.

  • It's socialism. Doctors and store clerks making the same wage isn't fair.

  • How is doing good in a game and expecting somewhat of a reward selfish?

  • Actually it's the exact opposite of fair and it makes people stop playing very quickly. You could literally set your controller down for a whole match and still have the exact same chance of getting an exotic weapon (possibly even a better chance) and that's called BULLSHIT. If you're not even there playing the game, why should you get anything at all?

  • No its IS fair. Your ability DOESN'T affect your rewards chance. That is a GOOD thing that I love about destiny pvp. (Again i'm normally top of board) Also gear DOES matter in pvp regardless of what people say. (Only damage defences and HP are normalised all others things still work) A reward system that is focused on good players only would create an unfair power gap. And create the casual vs elitists arguments. the everyone has the same dice roll is FAIR. Don't play PVP expecting to be rewarded. Play pvp cause you want to PVP. (Or maxing marks/rep) Rewards are an additional thing. I could care less if someone afk'd or did nothing and got drops.

  • It's not fair at all, the damn casuls just need to git gud or stop playing, I don't give a shit if their feelings are hurt when they don't get anything for sucking ass, that's their own goddamn fault. I don't need to be punished for other people's incompetence.

  • You COULD care less? Isn't that countering your own argument?

  • Gotta like how you have to brag about being at the top of the board.

As i've said numerous times before. If either of the 2 communities need an incentive to continue playing, it's the less skilled casuals. I have no problems with them receiving rewards regardless of my performance. I dont think that me being better at PvP necessarily means they should not be rewarded. It's little more than a reward as an incentive to continue playing. NOT because you're performing the best. People who intentionally join matches and idle on the other hand should have a special button in the report player dialogue, be warned a few times then indefinitely banned from PvPing, they are the sourge of PvP matches. Or there should be a minimum requirement of involvement which entitles you to rewards.
