I think your missing the point. Your solution is telling people not to play the part of Destiny they enjoy and go and play a different part. I assume you enjoy the raid, how about you go and play, say Patrol for the next 4 weeks and nothing else. Would you enjoy this? Also the fact high rewards are given to last place players and the sweet reward of -blam!- all goes to the 1st place gamer, actively encourages AFK, therefore the loot system is broken..... I dont play PvP but it was/is the same issue on strikes.

The system is flawed and I can go as far as to say RNG loot like this encourage poor game play. The bounties encourage it too, but that's for another thread. Yes, loot drops are random, but it's not even a drop. It's a reward. Rewards should be given to those who got the highest score from taking control of zones A, B, and C or top KDR. AFKing and being rewarded for it encourages bad game play. I understand that there are bad players out there, average and players that go above and beyond to get where they're at, but if you're telling me a player that takes advantage of a loot system through AFKing is okay, I honestly don't know what to tell you. This loot system can be easily improved for both winning and losing teams.
