Yes.... But I'm not saying that I should get a legendary or an exotic for every boss I kill, but why don't they transfer the rewarding gameplay from the loot cave to the strikes and story modes. Boss drops should have a better chance to give you high quality items and always give you something that is at least average. You pour a few hundred rounds into a high level boss and you get.... Most of the time nothing. He's just another kill. You can get the same from low level, one-shot enemies. It's not rewarding gameplay. There aren't really any ways to improve your chances in RNG by doing well.
