So the wife got her hands on Destiny tonight. She kind of shrugged when I mentioned her playing it at first. During the tutorial stage, right after the you pass a giant fan and emerge into that really big open area, a dropship came down and gave my wife about a half-dozen targets. It was then that I noticed the change. She sat straight up, "Oh, shit's gettin real now. Ain't it." She has gladly accepted the invitation to play as a second class for me, my Warlock.
Suffice to say, my wife has always been a fan of shooters. Especially the Halo titles, Borderlands, and now Destiny.
Got me to wondering what the other clan member's experiences with their wives has been like. Please let me know if there's an answer I just didn't think of.

Mine hasn't played an FPS since the original counter strike. I keep trying to get her to give it a go but she can't handle two sticks on a console. She has been broken by her iPad.

Edited by Orion027: 9/19/2014 3:50:45 PMWe play every night after I get home from work. She's a Level 22 Warlock. She's got her own Xbox One and a copy of Destiny. She even uses different loadouts for PvE and PvP. She's being playing FPS games with me since Halo 3. We love Destiny. Works perfectly for us and our friend. We are going to try the Raid this weekend. Gonna be great fun!

My boyfriend doesn't like FPS games because he sucks at aiming. Role Reversal!
-
She doesn't get on with FPS... Driving Games, 2D platformers and Ocarina of Time are her direction.
-
Im not married so I inserted sister for wife.
-
It's hard to watch someone play the into when they've never really played shooters. The shields get em.
-
I'm a girl and my girlfriend hasn't tried Destiny yet <3
-
More like, "has her own psn and level 24 Hunter"
-
Mine hasn't. She plays Skyrim instead lol
-
The wife and I came from borderlands, so Destiny isn't her first shooter. But I had to really convince her to let me purchase a 2nd TV and 2nd PS4

Edited by LightTehRing94: 9/23/2014 12:52:57 AMDude, you set up an entertainment center in your kitchen? Pretty cool your wife can cook and game at the same time.
-
Sadly I have to share my 360 with my husband. The only time we argue is over who's game we're going to play!
-
Are you kidding I play more than my husband. Pink hair pink armor shaders I'm there dude
-
Not really, but she is a big deciding factor on, which shader I use and, which Titan Mark I wear.
-
I'm not sharing my damn PS4.
-
No wife :(
-
I don't have a wife...

Mine really wanted to play Destiny when we saw it first announced if it wasn't for her I probably would have waited. She is a level 16 Warlock. I help her when she ask since this is her first FPS experience, she plays game like Fable. Hopefully we will get another copy soon so she can play at the same time one in living room and other in bedroom.
-
If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't have picked Destiny up until after Christmas.
-
Had to hit alt option but she has her own account and xbox. Also is still a higher lvl than me. She's a lvl 23 warlock.
-
Fiancé is a Wii girl, prefers Mario Kart and Rock Band. She generally dislikes shooters so I'm not getting my hopes up.
-
No, I...don't have one ( sob)
-
Wheres the choice of.. She loves it and had to buy her a ps4 to continue playing it, so I can play on my own
-
My wife got my second class "hunter" to lvl 20. Just sitting there waiting for me to finish with my warlock. Now she's on her own GT. Love her.
