Let me preface this by saying I mean everything written here to sound as respectful as possible. I mean it informatively, not argumentatively. I'm a blade dancer myself and to be honest a lot of the hate we get is... Well, warranted... To a degree. I think people vastly overestimate our abilities, we can clear a room of people, sure, we can dash really fast, true, we can take more bullets than normal, right. Now here's the things you might not know. 1.) We can clear a room: this is true, but you must remember that EVERY class is able to clear a room with their super, and unlike the Titan and Warlock we immediately attract every bullet in that room the second we activate it. 2.) We take more bullets than normal: Yes we do, but you must remember we are literally a glowing target essentially saying "Hey bullets! Come get me!" We need that extra armor in order to use our super effectively at all. Also no matter what you hear, rockets, machine guns, and a group of people ARE capable of killing a blade dancer, I promise, it's happened to me MANY times. 3.) We can dash really fast: Again, this IS Technically true, but there's a price, Blade dancers run at a constant sprint speed which is not honestly much faster than normal. In fact we move faster when we attack by pressing R1 "So they just spam R1! It's still overpowered!" Thank you for pointing that out random forum goer, and you're right, it would be. Luckily Bungie had the foresight to make it so that every time you hit that button, it shortens the time you have in Arc Blade. Any questions?
