You summed it up perfectly. I feel like my number one job as a PVE Titan is taking out the trash. I was just telling my Warlock buddy this the other day. The Titan is the anchor. My job is to clean up all the adds as quickly as possible so my fireteam can keep focused on the boss. When shit hits the fan I am always the last man standing. The Defender subclass is fantastic for this.
