Are Titans the weakest in the Crucible, or am I just worse than I think?
I've tried Crucible over and over. My friends tell me it's fun, and that you have to get use to it, but they're playing as Warlocks and Hunters. I'm constantly being wrecked by players, that are mostly Hunters and Warlocks. Even thinking about it, I don't really see that many Titans in the Crucible. The Titan abilities seem to only really work in defense, even the Striker Subclass. Is any other Titan just getting destroyed out there? I'm good at games like Halo and Battlefield, and I'll admit, I'm not great at Crucible, but this is out of control! Does anyone feel the same? Are Titans a weaker PvP class?

I'm a lvl 29 warlock and most times i do well online, Iv made a Titan now lvl 15 and I was owning in the last 4 matches , it's really skill that's the key. I'm not sure what your style of play is,but maybe take a look at trying a different style. Take your time and aim for head is the biggest advice you can take.

I recently went 25-1 as a Titan. So no, matters more on skill and communication.

They aren't the weakest class. They're pretty balanced. It just might not be the right class for [b]you[/b]. Try a Warlock or Hunter and see what you like best.

10 RepliesPersonally I see more titans than any other class in crucible (Generally about 40-60% of the population is titans) with the smaller portion usually being warlocks, but occasionally even including myself there will only be 2-3 hunters in an entire match. I almost never enter a clash game that has less than 5 titans.

I do Crucible alot and I got my 100 hunter achievement before any other. Then the warlock. then weeks ands weeks later I got my titan 100. Seems to me like thats proof enough. Funny thing is the Titan (which I use) is the easiest becuz their def is boosted! Lol!

I'm a Titan and I do well enough in crucible. IMHO: Defender > Striker Play to your strengths.

I'd say you're right about Titans being the least popular option in the Crucible, but I primarily play as a hunter and rarely ever see a lot of hunters in matches; I mostly end up in games where there's at least 3-4 warlocks on each team (could just be luck of the draw). I wouldn't go as far to say it depends on your class to influence how good you are. Like I said, my main is a hunter (which is considered a really OP class) and I have some downright god-awful games where I don't even break a 1.0 KDR, and I'm getting wrecked by Titans too lol. Like some people have said on here, get comfortable with your class and fiddle around with your skill selection, and you'll get it.

Mkst people dont like it if you play with a shotgun but if you arent that good u should start with one . I did the same when i started the crucible . I play as a titan lvl 25 and i have to say the shoulder charge is really really good

I'm a 28 Titan and no there aren't many of us that play the crucible, and I'm not awesome either. I do my bounties or get my marks and I'm out lol. But when I play I have to play my way. A striker. I play " get off this flag because I'm taking it beeeertch!" Shoulder charge, death from above oh yea it works. Find your play style, do you clear the path and not care to take a death or do you want to protect your team and defend them while they take a flag? Or while getting heavy ammo? You'll find it man

Neither, titans a good class especially for defenders, although it might not be the right class for you. Try different classes and sub classes until you find the right fit do your play style.

2 RepliesI'm a Titan and I'm a very strong player in the Crucible. 2.17 KD, top 100 for headshots, top 100 for zones captured, etc.

6 RepliesThe Titan takes like 90% less damage when using their super it kills everything there's no weakness to the striker super you can kill all yes you can say warlocks can do the same but warlocks super can fking miss Titan super can it just kills I think instead of making it everything around you it should go out in a cone and have more range

The thing is you'r coming in a slight disadvantge, when the game released everyone was starting off more or less the same. But a fresh titan, hunter, or warlock doesnt have many of the extra perks highers do. Work on your titan it becomes a totally differant ball game once you max out a class, I have a titan and a hunter. I honestly think both maxed out are completely on par with eachother!! Dont give up.

6 RepliesTitans supers suck for pvp. However, Juggernaut and shoulder charge can greatly make up for it. Running around with a shield lets you get up close and personal, and you can take out guys with one shotgun shot
