I'd be inclined to agree with Cejao. As a rule of thumb, if I swap the words for gay with words for straight, and the sentence then reads like it was written by your standard sexist/racist/homophobe, I'll avoid it. Eg "Straight people built the wall..." Is exclusionary and inflammatory. I'm also not so fond of the label in square brackets. [Gay] Mostly because I don't think that's the most interesting thing about me or the group, and once again if it was [Straight] it would be considered offensive by some. Don't get me wrong, I know this clan is a safe haven away from the usual homophobic crap, and it needs to be differentiated as such, but a line of text in the welcome text promoting tolerance to all who practice it would do the same thing, without segregation. Maybe I'm an odd ball in my thinking.
