Many of You Are Wondering Which is The Most Popular Class and How Many Play it
Over on IGN, we've done a poll to find out. The current results are this:
Warlock - 38.67% - 30,298 votes
Hunters - 32.96% - 25,825 votes
Titan - 28% - 22,235 votes
That's definitely more coverage than any poll has had here. I'm adding a poll here sheerly out of the fact that this is a class popularity thread (and I want to see how our site compares to theirs in both numbers and ratio).

Edit: Also, if you see any issues on the wiki, please let me know. I've been away for a while so they did some stuff to it that I'm not aware of. Tell me if you find any errors, old information, or cluttered pages.

It all seems pretty close to be honest. It looks like we're not going to have a huge shortage of a certain class, which is cool. Have fun out there all you Titans, Warlocks and Hunters :)

7 RepliesI don't know if you've looked, but one interesting things is it appears a good number of the early testers currently have a warlock main or alt. Hopefully this doesn't end up getting the Warlock nerfed, but also hopefully this doesn't mean the ratio will heavily skew post launch.

2 RepliesI'm curious to see what Bungie finds is the most popular, like, which class gets played the most by any given player is statistically their favorite, and then the numbers are calculated that way.

They are all equally important in my opinion. It is just like all FPS and MMORPG's games. Each Class usually have their ups and downs which makes them all viable choices. I am not one of those that would say one is better than the other and hate one class just because of what it is. Like those that hate on say snipers in some games. Nor am I one that would just play one class, such as those that only play Assault and nothing else. Playing like that is in my opinion boring and dumb. Plus it makes people really miss out on all the fun full aspects of a game. :) I will be playing each class and in multiple designs. I have three PSN Accounts and each can have three soldiers so as I max each out I will be making new ones and changing the species and genders between them. It make take a little while but I will eventually get it done and I will enjoy every minute of it. :) So I do not think I'll partake in this Vote. :)

1 ReplyI've been Hunter from the start, but I played the other classes on the Alpha and Beta, and they're all a lot of fun. I'm still going to play Hunter first, but I'm looking forward to playing all of the classes at some point.
