Edited by Cheesy: 9/7/2014 6:59:46 AMAre you criticizing the new movie for having a relatively unknown cast? That's ironic, considering the original trilogy also had a relatively unknown cast at the time, and that turned out completely fine.

Edited by Sarah: 9/7/2014 7:24:34 AMIf I know the cast, that doesn't mean it will be good. But it does let me put a ribbon on my idea of the film. If the cast of Jersey Shore are in the next Avengers movie, it'll be rubbish. If the main cast of the first Avengers movie are in the next one, it'll be on par or better. If the cast is unknown, as in not knowing the people, the chance of enjoying it is 50:50. If I don't know them, I don't know if they'll be good or bad. Then there's the argument that I never knew the actors and actresses in Avengers. At some point I didn't know who Robert Downey Jr. or Scarlett Johansson were. Good point. In that case I would have doubted the Avengers movie. A nice example is the actor who plays RoboCop in the new movie. He could have been awful, or brilliant. So my doubts were there. What I'm saying is because the cast are unknown I can't determine if overall that will make the film worth watching. It's almost worse than knowing if the next Avengers movie will have a bad cast, because not knowing at all offers no clarification.
