I think some of you may have misinterpreted what I'm suggesting: these rewards would be given to members with an outstanding tenure on BNet, not to players who have played Halo the longest. The rewards would be cosmetic, they would only signify that the player has been a part of the Bungie Community for a good deal of time. As far as the fairness of these rewards I don't seem to understand why they would be "unfair", they are no more "unfair" than any of the rewards received from the preordering of Destiny or any of the rewards received from attending live Bungie events. And these rewards would not be console biased in any way: they would be attached solely to the Bungie user's account.
