The only issue there is that some people never played the halo games, as they only had PlayStations. Because of that they wouldn't have access to the very benefit you're suggesting. And I'll go ahead and say that your idea would effectively be inaccessible to a large portion of the Xbox players and the vast majority, if not all of the PlayStation players.

Regardless if people on Playstation get it or not has nothing to do with it, I didn't see them support Bungie for the last 10 years, and they are getting 1 year exclusive content. So I think it's fair, and luckily Bungie saw it that way too as seen by their weekly update.

If you're thinking they're awarding halo players, that's not right they're rewarding people who'd reached a high status on the forums, way back when.

uh...there's an emblem for people who played the last 4 of 6 Bungie games, being a forum member for over a year and a half(before PS community would have known about this game), and this forum used to be about halo where nobody from the PS community was on here. Pretty sure that's basically awarding halo players....not sure what you think it is -.-

Not that we need to use numbers or anything, but finding creative means to reward those who came before others is always a good thing regardless of the playstation or Xbox users impacted because of it. If that was indeed the case, companies would never want to invest into the exclusives coming to the playstation network without due process for the xbox community. At this point, those who played Halo and were part of that legacy have every argument to be rewarded regardless of any counter reason.
