WEAKNESSES CONFIRMED In Dust Palace Trailer
This video shows a generous preview of the Dust Palace,ps3\ps4 exclusive timed content.
At .1:35+following you can hear the speaker telling you that the bosses will have specifics weaknesses,in this case you can spot em just looking their capes,as himself hints.

EDIT: In this Strike Mission you can get as loot,probably on the hardest difficulty,the 2 exotic weapons, Monte Carlo and Hawkmoon,accordingly exclusive contents for ps3\ps4,

Anyone wondering why the hunters arcblade seemed to be doing such little damage to the cabal psion towards the end of this video should click on this link and scroll down to cabal command. It seems like the final boss for the strike is a trio of psions with different elemental shields for all damage types. http://imgur.com/a/Cn0dO

The weaknesses are the shields and that is what he was talking about. The shields are weak against one element or another based on color. DattoDoesDestiny has a good vid on how that works.
