I got $20 (about 40 euros?) that says 3/4 of the players join a PK clan like LC, and the game would never be played according to the way it was meant to. It would instead be a constant civil war inside the Tower and the Last City on Earth to decide who runs the show, with Anti-Air pointed at the Hangar for any noobs coming into the city. If you're going to think SAO, you better think all the way.

Yeah each clan has their own Tower (technically the game itself has more than one tower to accommodate dozens of Guardians within the Tower. So think of it this way....ground insertion with heavily anti air encampments. The only way to claim the enemy clan's Tower is thru ground war...within the city xD

Pssh, we're talking about PK'ers here. There won't be any claims, they would just destroy the tower unless it was in a more strategic position. Even then I'm sure the big clans will try to Rome (pun!) their way through the City.
