Let's Fix PMs- Huzzah Webteam!

So as of the site update a few days ago, I now receive PM notifications again on my phone. It's awesome, though admittedly I preferred the Septagon notification symbol to the Tricorn. But here's the thing... I'm getting dozens of them. So why is this in #community instead of #help? Because the problem is that this isn't a glitch- this is a feature. A feature that is driving me insane. Let me explain. I run a private group. It's closed membership- each person needs to be accepted. So any time somebody joins the queue to get in the group, what do I get? You guessed it- a notification in my PMs. Since the Beta site update last month I've gotten 513 PM notifications- separate messages not new ones for each reply. How do I know this? Because the number hasn't gone away in a month. Of those 513, probably around 20 are from the last two days since the mobile notification system starting working again. And it's annoying. I have it set to give me mobile notifications when I get a PM- something I would like to make use of instead of having to disable it. But I'm being bombarded with 'X requests to join your group' PMs on my phone to the point where this feature is quite literally unusable for me. Hell, I can't even FIND PM conversations I'm having because they get buried under all these group messages. So. I was told site suggestions go in #community. So what am I suggesting? I'm asking- begging, really- that group join requests are removed from PMs. Or at least make this a feature I can toggle off. If I want to see my group queue, I will go to the group. It's nice to have a reminder as an option, but it's not nice to be completely unable to view my PMs and to not be able to have mobile notifications without including those. And this is by design! If anybody has any similar PM troubles, please do share them. And webteam... it'd be real swell if this were something in the works. On an unrelated side note, still would love if admins of private groups could use all the admin powers instead of limiting it to whoever is marked as the founder. It's really messing up my jam. Cheers.
