I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

My first console that ever played on was the game cube then the original. Xbox and then finally the xbox 360. And my first game was either star fox, super smash bros or that super smash bros style Digimon game.

Been playing since I was a kid. First console was the original NES. I've owned in order... NES SNES Sega Genesis Xbox PS2 Xbox 360* PS3** PS4 * Owned multiples of these consoles. 4 of my 5 Xbox 360s died on me. 2 RRODed on me (one Halo 3 Edition the other Elite). Disc laser went out on the 3rd. And fan went out on the 4th. Both of these were the 1st slim model. Traded my 5th 360 (also a slim) in for my white super slim PS3. ** Also owned 5 of these. None broke on me though. My first one was pawned by my girlfriend while I was deployed to Afghanistan. The others I traded in towards 360s because I got bored with them. Traded in my white PS3 when I got my PS4. Put it towards my PS4 games.

Edited by Gray_Falcon: 8/27/2014 3:13:25 AMMy first game was Ultima 1, I didn't play it until 1988 on my friends computer. Then after the NES came out I had Mario, Zelda and the first Final Fantasy (I still prefer the old D&D style layout with 8 bit graphics over the remake).
-
GameCube.....but I can't remember if my first game was a starfox game or Pikmin (the first game)
-
My first game was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle on NES.
