Official League of Legends discussion thread

Thought we could have one, since more members of MBT are starting to play. You know how these things work. For those that don't know or are interested, league of legends is a free online game where you fight in arenas on teams, trying to destroy the enemy base. Its that RTS-styled field of view, but your champion has skills. Its not an RPG, its not an RTS. Its fun. leagueoflegends.com Epic Push in a 4v5 match by Me and Dan and Theo [Edited on 01.14.2012 11:54 AM PST]

 • Good point Vishra. Gavin also reminded me of something last night. Trying champs for the first time in normal queue games is NOT a bad idea. Sure, you could use bot games to figure out the playstyle of a champion and how they play/their abilities. But you'll never truly learn how to master a champion unless you learn to play them in a real game situation. Just like Vishra, I've tried new champions numerous times in normal games. Sometimes I did well, and other times I failed. No matter how I did, though, I made sure to persist and learn the champion. Now I have 12-15 champions I'm comfortable playing with consistently.
