Meh. Like many others, I'm indifferent.
The jetpack sound is fine because warlocks are still some kind of techomancers and when they're not hurtling magical bombs they use guns and rocket launchers like everyone else so why not jetpacks, or whatever these guardians fly with.
A more magical sound effect could be cool, sure, but it doesn't really matter or add much more to the warlocks . They're already pretty awesome.

Edited by Th_AlphaAndOmega: 8/24/2014 1:47:44 AMI respectfully disagree, I believe those small but significant nuances are what make games. the difference between good games and great games is always the attention to detail. And like most people in this forum I want destiny to be the best it can be. So I hope they change it to something magical or something...

It's true that the subtle details do wonders for any great game and having a more magical sounding flight certainly isn't detrimental. However, warlocks make the merging of technology and arcane a common practice so there's also nothing inherently wrong with a warlock using a jetpack. Afterall, they do wield rifles and shotguns instead of magic wands. Sadly, even if magical fight sounds are a great idea, it's unlikely that they can be added in a week or so. Later perhaps...

Agreed. I don't mind jetpack sounds but it's eerily similar to the lift for Titans. I really just want more differences in the classes themselves. Like different character animations or something. I thought a couple of sound distortion/tweaking wouldn't be too much. Honestly dont even expect them to look at this. I'm just excited about the game and love speculating how great it could be

Bungie may surprise you. I didn't think they read this stuff either until they implemented 90% of my PvP feedback. Interceptors, hand cannons, pulse rifles, all fixed. That may have been just a coincidence. They didn't do anything for the shotgun, which I thought should have better viable range. I spend a lot of time on the gun range with shotguns and it's an extremely versatile weapon. Likely a balance need keeps it melee range only though. So perhaps they will tweak the Warlocks flight sound. Who knowsss? Haha. You spends ya money and you takes ya chances. ~

Edited by Killer Kodiak69: 8/24/2014 11:43:27 AMUnfortunately it's unlikely that they'll get to this before release, I've had trouble even getting feedback. However I can hope that maybe it'll gain attention and maybe it can be implemented in a patch later on.
