That's why the DMR is a problem. It's WAY too effective at every range. The DMR ruined Halo 4 because it dominates every other gun, and it even rivals the range of the Sniper. It ruins map movement in BTB because of its effective range. The DMR also is too powerful against vehicles and this is easily seen in Reach and the trend continued in Halo 4. The BR never did any of this in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Sure the BR dominated but people were still able to counter it with other weapons. The BR also never ruined map movement in BTB and never rivaled the Sniper Rifle. The BR isn't that great against vehicles either.
