absolutely not. there's an anniversary multiplayer and an original multiplayer. original multiplayer is the same exact halo 2 experience at 1080p/60fps with dedicated servers. anniversary is kind of like a mish mash between halo 2 and other stuff [call it a "director's cut" as 343 is giving halo 2's multiplayer lead creative control as well].
