Which begs the question...by looking through the red dot scope isn't that technically aiming down the sight? You're still going to be seeing through your peripherals, and not through the helmet's smart link to the scope. Just speculating here about what it's going to look like to the player when we click down on that right stick.
Or the view could be just the square entirely. Meh, overspecializing.

The ODST SMG had a red dot sight, and the smart link scope worked out. Perhaps it just doubles as both, for those not using the helmet attachment.
