Destiny has a few elements from games like COD, however, there completely dif games, i dont think there is anything on consoles u can compare Destiny to other than Defiance, which was known as a Destiny warm up like 2 years ago.

This is probably the best comment on the subject of destiny and cod i have ever seen its either cod is the meta nothing will ever add up or cod is trash and it is the worst game. Its nice to see someone with a rational sense of mind

indeed, COD is a more arcade style of shooter, fast pace etc. Destiny is unique in the slowdown, ppl have a hard time literally just Slowing Down in Destiny. Took me a while anyways, i come from a BF background. Glad you enjoyed the comment, Many people swear by the nuances of the games they love and have a hard time taking an objective look at things. Sometimes if u stand back and really look at them side by side, there so different, can you really compare them?
