i believe Progo answered your question perfectly, i would ask however what u mean by the logistics? The factions are a very deep part of the game that each have their own unique motivations.

He did answer my question well i just wanted to know the credits/points or whatever you gain from doing these missions for the factions are they free to use anywhere or only from that respective faction

So u can only use dead orbit rep with dead orbit vendors. Make sense? The only faction marks ive seen have been for vanguard. I could be wrong though. (Crucible marks too)

Yes u can do missions for all and any u want. And you should do them all! They all have unique loot and class items and other gear.

Factions, so far, seem to be very similar to the sub-factions in World of Warcraft. You earn points by doing faction-specific tasks, and then they give you points you can spend on faction items. So far, affiliating with a faction does not change the story.

The points you get from doing faction missions, are they exclusive to buying stuff from those factions only
