I would have saved a child but between an unknown adult and my dog I'm going to save the dog every time.

Because the adult: *Couldnt swim *Had just eaten and went swimming anyway *Suffered from some form of medical condition All three should grant them elimination from the gene pool. The kid probably just didnt know any better.
