Every branch has it's own thing what I did and was set on the USMC since I was 5 now I'm 30 and earned the title, I use the team work aspect, leadership qualities and the good ole " pain is weakness leaving the body" all at work. Heavy lifting takes it toll on people. You can get the brotherhood and frat feeling from all branches as well as life long skills. Best thing to do is take the asvab look at your score and what mos possibilities you have and once that's done then decide your branch.
