Ruins the immersion? What ruins the immersion for me is that I know there is a barrier between me and other guardians that Bungie set up to protect kids, in the form of no voice chat

  • You're kidding..... I can spend 2 hours with a complete stranger, exploring the finer details of Old Russia (and coincidentally being rewarded with loot crates), and use nothing but points and waves, and have a blast. Ain't no barrier there, you just have to learn to use your actions, rather than your words.

  • Heh, nah. It'd be rated Teen if I threw a slurry of offensive words at you, and refused to use things like commas, periods, and other grammatical symbols. Sorry, man, but every Halo multiplayer I've ever played (excluding Halo 4) always had at least two bad apples in the battle-bunch. The Crucible would be no different, except now it would spill into the main game as well. If you're interested in talking, do the mature (perhaps not to be confused with rated M for Mature) thing, and send a bloody message to the person you were impressed with. They either won't talk to you, or they might do the polite, mature thing, and respond.
