I was consigned to never actually playing this game before my friend gave me a beta code. Over the course of a couple days, I straightened out some finances to drop $90 ASAP. My expectations were blown so far away that I couldn't even do the logical thing available to me, and wait until closer to launch to preorder. Now I get withdrawal symptoms every time I turn on my PS3 and see the Traveller hanging in the sky over the rails of the Tower. Seriously, though, I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm used to betas so I didn't think too much about it.
