I can understand the comparisons some people might draw but really most mmo's have that in common with sao don't they?

In the sense that it's an mmo? I mean yeah there both mmo's but there hardly alike for instance in SOA resources and xp are limited ( personally my fav feature from the game) not so in destiny I can grind all day long, also SOA is a fantasy setting not sci fi

Yup yup I totally agree with you but what I ment was that we are speaking as individuals with a more extensive understanding of mmo's so it's a lot easier to decypher what makes each one unique and similar
