[spoiler]I feel like they were taught to think that way or never experienced a bent penis. Really I guess it's personal preference and lack of sexual connection can be a deal breaker.

She was very open in the relationship and would have said something then if it were true and a problem. Not that it's "bent" so much as not completely straight anyway.
