America: women work in the white house, can get almost any job.
Guess what! In other countries women aren't allowed any of that. Damn, some women can't even show their face. If they wanna bitch about equality they should go do that in another country.

I recall reading somewhere that, working the same job, women earn 80% of what men make, but I don't know how much truth there is to that.

You could always argue that it's because women just aren't getting as well paying jobs as men, but if you argue that you also have to realize that we also are very picky in what jobs we even give women. So it's no doubt they get paid less because less places hire women for high paying jobs, therefore women make less than men because they aren't taking up positions that are of utter importance.

I believe that was average income of men vs average income of women. And I believe the research study actually said that it was because women simply don't get as many high-paying jobs as men, not because employers pay women less.
