Can we all please just stop this nonsense? You're still getting all the content, and the beta, they're just timed exclusive to PlayStation platforms. I guess being on the other end of that stick this time sucks, doesn't it? Microsoft has been paying loads of cash for timed exclusive content for years (instead of spending money on actual exclusives, but that's another story). Sony does it with Destiny and now Xbox players are throwing fits that Bungie has [i]"forgotten their roots"[/i] and is [i]"neglecting their fans."[/i] They haven't and they're not, they have fans on PlayStation too you know. If I owned a PS3 and an X360, can I not be both a Playstation fan and a Halo fan (and therefore a Bungie fan)? Personally, I think timed exclusive anything is a stupid idea regardless of who does it, but that's not the point. The point is you guys are seriously overreacting to something that isn't even a problem.
Can't we all just get along and enjoy this great game, regardless of which console we're playing on?

Destiny is awesome!! Why you say!! People are arguing over a beta.....A BETA. Unfinished test model. Test program. It was in private and closed beta. Now preorders will have access. PSN 9\17 & xbox 9\24(not sure exact date for 360 but its in july) You crying because we getting beta 9\17....... Well let me make you laugh. Playstation Network will have scheduled server maintance for 2 dammm days. 9\21-22. Beta for all ends on july 27th. I logged into bungie.net. neutral ground. Where fans new and old to bungie can come together and support Destiny. I'm a bungie fan now..

We actually are not getting all the content, its all locked out to Xbox fans and the timer is set for 1 year, this is flat out saying "To bad guys if you want the full experience get it on PS4 or wait a year". Its a huge slap in the face to fans any way you cut it, and ontop of that there is exclusive content within each DLC pack there after that is locked out as well.

I never said Xbox is getting it at the same time as Playstation, but you are getting it. Xbox gets it one year after Playstation, but you're still getting the same content.

The point is you guys are seriously overreacting to something that isn't even a problem. GTA IV DLC was exclusive to the Xbox 360 for a year. That sucked for me, as I'm a big GTA fan and GTA hit it big on Playstation. But hey, its business. You just have to deal with it (or get the other console). I chose to just wait the year out.

There is a HUGE difference between exclusive content that comes a month later, to exclusive content that comes nearly a year later. But you seem to think its the exact same thing for some reason.

A week. A year. 10 years. Doesn't matter. You still get the same content. I think timed exclusive anything is a dumb idea in the first place anyway. Look, I sympathize with Xbox players here. I'd be disappointed too if I was getting Destiny on Xbox. I was disappointed all last generation on PS3 when Microsoft got most of the major timed exclusivity deals. But I just lived with it or didn't play the game. Same goes for Destiny.
