What do you all think? I don't think she would've been a danger to the students as the school was claiming.

Cant see vid. I highly doubt that was the whole cause.

It was a school policy that she would be of sound mind it seems. And she was not of sound mind. I support the school's choice.

The video is buggering me around, but I went over the thread and it seems that whilst it's obviously tragic, the school didn't necessarily do anything wrong. I would give the look of death to the people who were supposed to be treating her, I know you can't always pick up on things like that but surely if she was that unstable they would have sectioned her? (I don't know the yank system for this, but it really should have happened.) *sigh*

Edited by LowIQPlayz3445: 7/2/2014 9:36:59 AMSchools have policies. They can't just not apply them sometimes. While this is unfortunate, the school did nothing wrong. I think that how she killed herself over something rather small is an indicator that the school was right. She was mentally unstable.

It's not the school's fault, it's her fault. How dare she commit suicide.
-
They hardly could have predicted this would happen. If she really couldn't handle this, clearly she needed a lot more help.
-
The school is not at fault because she chose to act immature for attention. She clearly wasn't ready to graduate anyway.

Why was she barred from graduation? CNN videos lag the hell out of my computer.

Tl;dr

Don't feel like watching a video..

I'm too busy watching the X-Files to watch the video, why was she barred from graduation?

If she relied on school that much she would have never survived the real world and be crippled by all the responsibilities which may have lead her to the same outcome so it seems to be a quicker fate.
