My religion is that of the universe. I believe that we ourselves are a part of something greater. Atoms form together to create something larger. Cells operate to create life. Life operates to create a web, an ecosystem across the entire planet. Planets trapped in the gravity of their stars form systems. Systems trapped amongst one another form galaxies. And, at last, the universe houses all of it, in a nearly perfect clockwork system of renewal and dispersal. My god is the universe itself. I believe, to an extent, that like the cells in our bodies, what we see around us gives life to something greater that we will ever see, or know, a consciousness that is the result of all these untold systems, from the smallest, to the largest, working in tandem. We are like cells, bound to our level of persepctive, never truly knowing what we are a part of as we go about our own existence. My god does not ask of anything. No worship, no holy wars to covert the non believers. It does not smite, it does not pity, it does not praise or focus on one sole individual or group. It simply, is.
