While this is a [b]Obvious speculation[/b] piece. The details in this video are quite the argument to say we are dead. i personally buy into the theory that we are vessels of the Travelers Light.

Perhaps being resurrected by 'the light' might have some references to Christ being resurrected, this got me thinking of the 'holy trinity', 3 man squad - Hunter, Titan and Warlock. Also at a bit of a push the father (man), the son (exo, created by man) and the holy ghost (awoken). A bit of a stretch but why not.
