I am almost positive it will be one soldier
Reason being: You will be able to join a lobby and the 8 players can vote to play H1, H2, H3, H4
So each player would vote for one of these:
Halo CE Slayer Hang Em High
Halo 2 1CTF Lockout
Halo 3 Team BRs Snowbound
Halo 4 Assault Adrift
For that reason I just do not see there being multiple Spartans. I can't explain it well. If these games were not going to have these sorts of lobbies and only had individual lobbies for each game then yeah I would think they would have 4 individual Spartans but since it is all one intermingled mess I think it will be ONE Spartan. Not only that but they also said something about there only being ONE ranking system across all multiplayers.

Even though each game has it's own dedicated Multiplayer? You can choose to solely play CE/2/3/4 if you want. And because they said they aren't touching the coding or engines. So it's pretty much confirmed to have separate Spartans for each.
